Introduction to Drawing
The links that follow are my coursework assignments completed through my college education thus far. For each I will provide a brief description of the assignment and present my completed assignment.
Below are the assignment descriptions and links to my Submitted work;
Week 1 - Perspective drawings and blind contour drawings. .
Week 2 - Do a self portrait (I used the same picture in my bio). Draw a household item demonstrating hatch, cross hatch and stippling shading techniques. Look at source picture which is upside down and draw it upside down.
Week 3 - Use a live model and spend no more than 20 seconds on each sketch. Sketch 15 poses for each category; Action, Standing, Crouching and Exaggerated.
Week 4 - Use a live model and spend no more than 10 minutes on each sketch. Sketch 5 poses for each category; Action, Standing, Crouching and Exaggerated.
Week 5 - Watch a series of sequencing video showing a certain action. Draw 5 frames summarizing the sequence. Think of a video game you want to make and describe the 15 second commercial you would create to advertise your game. Do a frame by frame description for a 15 frame story board you will create for your commercial.
Week 6 - Do a 15 panel rough storyboard per specifications provided by instructor.
Week 7 - Create a rough draft Character Model Sheet of main character as per specifications provided by instructor.
Week 8 - Fine tune your storyboard from the week 6 assignment and submit as your final.
